Jan's Life Journey Map

Jan taught in the Bible at seminary for 7 years. He was the Director of Missions inside the state church of Norway. It was a calling from God.

But then he realized that with all our 200 pastors etc. they were not targeting people in the cities.

In 1990 he met Ray Bakke and that meant targeting the cities. He began volunteer centers and moving congregations to serve the city.

In the 70’s the work was at a low point.

In the 90’s there was sexual abuse among pastors in his care. At 50 Jan was fat, tired and finished. Then God renewed him.

He began to exercise and walk and get help. He stepped down from his responsibilities and began to try to multiply the ministry to the city in Norway and around the world.

Jan has 5 children and 4 grandchildren.

We are in the position of God’s grace. We should learn from each other and listen to each other.
