Life Journey Map - Bryan White
Bryan was part of that Baby Boomer who finally bumped up to more than just going to Church.
The 70’s were traumatic because there was no Jesus in his life. Bryan was focused on career in NFL. No solid female relationship. He left Texas and moved to Connecticut. Retiring from NFL was a low point. Also he graduated, met his wife and his daughter was born.
In the 80’s, Bryan got caught up in corporate rat race, work work work until he trusted Christ. Bryan became a deacon, he had a son and daughter and he finally began to give back to the community, dealing with the worst kids in the area. He worked in human services. Jesus took up the call on his life and he began to rock and roll.
In the 90’s God said to go to Georgia from Connecticut (like Abraham) even though Georgia was not on his mind. He argued with God but eventually packed up with his family and moved to Georgia. Bryan wandered in Georgia.
He quit the corporate environment and wandered until accepting a call to pastor. But still up until this point Bryan had no City reaching because the focus was on Church and Family.
In 2005 he is part of a movement bringing oneness to the body of Christ with relationships with other churches in the community. He is part of a church that has been transformed from a self-focused church to a community focused church. They are part of Unite! They have discovered that ministering as a group is far better than as a lone church.
