Day 2 Hear/See/Mean
I lost track of my wallet yesterday. We spent to hours looking . Then we stopped and prayed and I found it immediately.
This has been the best meeting that we ever had. The relational component has been very rich.
At home very few people understand what your trying to do.
The quality of the conversations, the safeness of the environment and other components increase over time as we spend more time together.
When you gather people around a big vision of trusting God, it creates a humility that fosters fellowship and an environment of blessing.
The movie illustrated transformation through living out the Gospel.
I was challenged by the movie. The gospel required Earnie to step outside of the approval of here's peers to do what the gospel demanded. In a Kairos moment we must step outside of what is comfortable with our peers to do what the gospel demands.
Augustin's step of faith was very courageous. The movie reminded me of the amazing courage of people who have acted on our behalf. The whole day yesterday had a thread of taking courage to take the next step even when it's uncomfortable.
The term relational equity impacted me as a very important concept.
We show up with relationship, not money or other resources.
The movie depicted a missionary, who learned the culture he was in and sacrificed himself for them. He trusted God for transformation.
God is doing amazing things around the world. I am very encouraged by it.
The Bible and Shakespeare brought grace to these prisoners. It combined the best of God and man.
The Colonel in the film reminded us that war is continual. We must keep fighting.
