Final Sharing Time

What happened that week that made it worth coming?

I came with dead batteries. The relationships have given me energy and power. I'm back

I'm going to be on TV.

When I saw the similarities between our issues and those of other cites, it helped a lot.

The relationships were great. How do we connect better outside of these gatherings.

Each meeting is like adding a piece to the puzzle to figure out our ministry. This time I could see the importance of involving business people and many others to transform society.

I'm used to formal meetings. This environment is incredible.

I am privileged to be embraced like this. The Kingdom is global and local. This is the third, this is the best.

I thank God that there is a fellowship like this to bring a younger leader into.

To hear the testimonies of business leaders being transformed was better than fiction. If you come from an aristocratic or monarchial society it is different from America which is egalitarian. The more democratic and egalitarian you become, the more those who are in power suffer and are in need. In monarchial societies it is the poor who suffer. This is the norm. America is different and Bob's stories prove this. In my town, the people who are the least open are the street people. The most open are those with heavy responsibilities. I'm so glad that Bob could share this with us.

The general impression and shape of God's hand is about what God is doing everywhere working through people working toward oneness. The only more overrated than natural childbirth is owning your own business.

I'm grateful to those who shared with intellectual honesty and openness.

This isn't what I thought I should be doing right now but it turned out to be exactly what I should be doing.

I'm thankful to be here. I resonated with much that was said. It's refreshing to be among brothers who speak the same language and are kindred spirits.

I'm excited about God's precise timing.

I am excited and encouraged about what God is doing around the world. We need each other.

Scott is a very good example of how to deal with finances. I will tell others in Europe about this.

I would like to see a theme like "What is a church" for our future meetings. In my country that is what God is stirring up in the hearts of Christians.

My city is the largest in the world. I hear the same things from the other large cities. The church needs to move outside the buildings. The action is outside of the walls. We need to return to Christ example of teaching among the peoples. What I will take back to my country will be communication with you about what happens in your cities during the next 6 months.

I appreciated some of the personal conversations that I had here. The Kingdom vision is what I've had a glimpse of here. I'm grateful to be hear.

David Bosch, Transforming mission: "Never was the church healthy enough to multiply. The miracle of God is that it did."

What has impressed me the most is how those who lead this group choose to serve us without the pressure of a controlling agenda. They are empowering.

Being here has encouraged me to continue to walk by faith locally in the midst of ambiguity. It's refreshing to hear the pastors in this room

It's interesting to see that the challenges to the Church are similar around the world.

I really like these Europeans.

Families are central to what God is doing around the world.

I don't hear the things I've heard here anywhere else. God is at work around the world.

From the start I had a battle to come here, now I'm starting to understand tonight. I could have been at a large prestigious gathering this very night. I also had a trip planned for next week. I had to drop both things in order to come here. I had to back out of this commitment. This was very tough for me. I decided to come here because I believed it would have a longer term influence.

It is a battle for me to be here because I want to work. I hate to sit and listen. It is a nightmare. I think God wanted to show me that stepping out of work and learning from others with different experience can give me a bigger vision. I think that will make a difference to my church that I have been here. It has been a battle but I'm grateful to be here.

The principle of alignment and unity have made a big impact on me. I feel like I've been pollinated this week.

I've been in the same community for 12 years and I heard from brothers who have been at it much longer than I. And the word from them was: persevere.

I felt that the Lord shared with me that the day will come when all that we are working for (unity, transformation) will be normal. We don't want to stop short of the tipping point. We push and we don’t see things move but the time will come when it does move. If we stop it won't move.

This past year has been the loneliest of my life and I was contemplating not coming, even last week. I feel like what I'm doing is crazy at times. Being with you has shown me that I'm not the only one that is crazy. This has been a watershed moment for me. I feel encouraged and inspired. Posted by Picasa
