Since we were last together…

What has been your greatest success?

CEO Fellowship will leaders of many big companies. We mobilized business leaders to discover what they can do to bless their community.

There is a Night school for 200,000 kids of migrant workers who can’t go to government schools because they don’t live there. The School has become legal and grown in size and scope.

Youth at the Threshold of Life, YLT. Character Based Education patterned after the CoMission in the former Soviet Union. The government has admitted failure in building character in young people.

What is working well?

Shawn and Jerry’s leadership group is going well.

What is “stuck”?

They are trying to learn how to mobilize city government and church to city reach. They would like to have 10,000 people in a large park to bless the city. Mobilizing their church has been very slow.

What has been your biggest surprise?

Jerry is training NPO and NGO Council leaders. This is an opportunity for their church to work with NPO network. Country wide leadership of these organizations.

Model of Ministry:

We don’t have a model. It starts with partnerships implementing strategies. The focus is new believers who are discipled back in to strategies or churches to form new churches.

3 main partnerships:

1. Intl. Church;

2. Campus Crusade;

3. House church.

Smaller partnerships with PCA MW and Southern Baptists.

They teach NPO leaders; mobilize the church to implement NPO strategies.

Migrant Schools; Rural networks etc.: to add new believers. New believers are cycled back into leadership with city reaching strategies, expanding to new cities and areas.

Partnership with CEO fellowship. How could we involve people in the city? The house church in our country is very willing to be involved. Get pastors to visit migrant school.

One fellow started a school for migrant kids. He needed the church because they had no toilet or water for 500 kids. The city said they would give a license if he could get a toilet and hot water. The CEO Fellowship knew they could raise the money. The school is now getting a license.

Inside this tiny school there is a church. In the midst of these things, believers are having and impact.

This man wants to start 240 churches.
